Thanks go to Peter and Joke Sinclair who gave us permission to hold the race on their land.
Thanks to Peter’s son and campsite manager Rory Sinclair and his partner Karin Schuler who organised the fiddle fest which we are sure runners enjoyed. Karin and Rory put a lot of work in to the event and put in place a lot of facilities, like the marquee, which was used by the race.
Thanks to Peter’s other son Andrew who created and runs the gallery and who made designs for the race flyers and T-shirts. He provided much brilliant advice.
Thanks to Rosie and Malcolm Gillespie for the work they do for Ewen’s Room and for the generous donation of the trophy as a prize.
Thanks to the Houston family and friends who marshalled and organised on the day. A special thanks to Lisa Houston who has done so much to help in the organising of the race from up West over the last months. Thanks to Chris Houston for the work put in to producing the race video.
Thanks to members of Shettleston Harriers International Training Team for putting out flyers at hill races.
Thanks also to Jon Gay from Lochaber AC who promoted the race in his club, at the Ben Nevis hill race and around Fort William.
Thanks to the Ardnamurchan Distillery who donated two bottles of whisky for the first male and first female finisher.
Thank you to the Loch Shiel Hotel, Acharacle, who kindly let us borrow their marquee.
Finally thank you to Jill of the Ardshealach Restaurant, Acharacle, who prepared the food for the event.
Love from Dave
